This device is a BTO/CTO device which is nearly identical to MLH12LL/A. We have listed this device separately as it has been configured with an upgraded processor when compared to the base model. This has been done to make it easier to catalog as well as easier to read.
Introducing the latest and greatest models of the a1706 MacBook Pro lineup, these are released in Late 2016 and continue till 2017 with a minor revamp. The powerhouse behind this Apple MacBook Pro 13 late 2016 device is a Core i5, 6TH Generation “Skylake” 3.1 GHz processor which featured both an integrated graphics card as well as the opportunity for a dedicated card. A Butterfly Mechanism keyboard is incorporated into the MacBook Pro to allow users to have a comfortable experience while typing. This is an improvement upon previous designs and provides a signature feel to all Apple devices. This model is only offered in two colors, either silver or space gray. There are no USB ports provided on this device with only 2 Thunderbolt “3” ports provided with the intention for Apple to lead the adoption of USB C type devices.
Storage
The storage included is a 256 GB of removable PCIe-based flash storage. Flash storage is widely known as an industry leading storage technology and Apple are at the forefront of this.

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 inch Retina display has a high resolution (2560×1600) LED-backlit widescreen which is the default for the screen type and resolution in this model.
